Electronic funds transfer (EFT)
Give conveniently and consistently through electronic funds transfer
directly from your bank account. EFT eliminates frequent check writing
and helps you stay on track with your pledge. St. Mark’s ministries

Check or cash
Give by placing your check or cash in the offering plate during worship or
by sending a check in the mail. St. Mark’s sends out quarterly giving
statements to ensure gifts are properly recorded. Cash should be placed
in a marked giving envelope, available in the sanctuary pews, to ensure it
is credited.
Planned giving
Planned giving allows you to commit a gift to St. Mark’s but to delay
delivery of the final benefit of the gift until a later time, such as upon the
distribution of your estate. Those who make planned gifts to the church

Giving beyond your pledge
Any gifts beyond your pledge may be given through the means described
above. And, you have the following additional avenues available.
Memorials and honorariums
Offer tribute to people who are important to you and support the
ministry of St. Mark’s above your pledge through memorial and honorary
gifts. Occasions for these gifts include remembering a special person
upon his or her passing, honoring a person who has touched your life in a
special way, or celebrating a special occasion or milestone in your life.
Make a check payable to St. Mark’s UMC, or use the mobile giving tool.
Indicate the gift as a memorial or honorarium and provide the name of
the person(s) to be remembered or honored. St. Mark’s will send an
acknowledgment card to the person’s family (memorial) or to the
honored person directly.
Retail perks
Use the extra, no-cost benefits offered by retailers you already use to
benefit the ministry of St. Mark’s.
Amazon Smile
If you shop on Amazon, then AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to provide a benefit to St. Mark’s each time you shop. Go to smile.amazon.com, which is just like the regular site but with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of purchases to St. Mark’s.

Kroger Community Rewards
Are you a Kroger grocery shopper? Enroll your Kroger Plus card to the Kroger Community Rewards program online. Designate St. Mark’s United Methodist Church (organization number: GX878) as the organization you wish to support. Kroger requires you to reenroll your card in the Community Rewards program each year.
