St. Mark’s Preschool and Parents’ Day Out has served the families
of Rutherford County since the 1980s. Our staff have more than
100 years combined teaching experience.
St. Mark’s Preschool programs (three and five days) are licensed
by the state of Tennessee through the Department of Human Services, Child Care Licensing. The preschool is rated three out of
three stars by the Tennessee Star Quality Program, which
recognizes child care organizations who exceed minimum
licensing standards. Though the Parents’ Day Out programs (one
and two days) do not require licensing, St. Mark’s chooses to
follow the same guidelines for these as we do our preschool.
St. Mark’s Preschool and Parents’ Day Out is a member of the
United Methodist Association of Preschools. All staff are
members of the Southern Early Childhood Association,
Tennessee Association for Children’s Early Education and the
Rutherford Association for Children’s Early Education.
