Carey says her enthusiasm for teaching helps her students feel confident, challenged, excited and loved each day. She encourages children to be independent and creative thinkers with the hopes they will grow into readers, writers, scientists, mathematicians, artists, problem solvers and friends.
Carey holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and began teaching preschool in 2011. She is married to Brian and has two children. Carey is a part of the Living Water Church in Murfreesboro. She likes sewing, sports of all kinds and family time.
