Bethany Cardenas
Office and Facility Services Administrator
Bethany arrived at St. Mark's UMC as a scholarship choir student in 2018, joined the church membership in 2021, and was called to join as a church administrator in 2024.
In her position as Office and Facility Services Administrator, she is responsible for a variety of services that support other members of the St. Mark's staff as they carry out their respective ministries. She coordinates work necessary to ensure church property is properly maintained and serviced, and she serves as a primary point of contact for church office visitors, volunteer staff, and service providers.
Publisher of slides, bulletins, and newsletters, editor of videos and graphics, caretaker of office stores and equipment, calendar coordinator, directory maintainer, and tech support at large, Bethany is a unicorn, always seeking more hands and hearts to help with the church's many needs!
You can still see her singing in the choir on Sundays and in the Nashville Symphony Chorus a few times a year. She enjoys nature, stories, adventure, and her cat! St. Mark's is her home, friends, and family.
