Hannah Underwood
Hannah Underwood
Director of Children's Ministries
Hannah Underwood serves as Director of Children’s and Family Ministries at St. Mark’s. She leads children’s Christian education and programming, nursery care, special needs ministry, fellowship and mission groups for children and families, and church-wide fellowship opportunities. Hannah also oversees St. Mark’s Safe Sanctuaries team.
Before joining the St. Mark’s staff, Hannah worked as a speech-language pathologist in the Cannon and Rutherford County School Districts. She first experienced a call to Christ as a college student through the MTSU Wesley Foundation and was actively involved in campus ministry at Middle Tennessee State University and East Tennessee State University. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from MTSU, a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ETSU, and a Master of Arts from Wesley Theological Seminary.
Hannah is a certified candidate pursuing deacon’s orders in the TWK Annual Conference. She is passionate about empowering children to lead in the church today and journeying with parents as they seek to raise children in the faith. Outside of church, Hannah enjoys spending time with her miniature dachshund, Dash, and with friends.
