WELCOME TO CAMP E.D.G.E, where you and your kids will Experience and Discover God Everywhere!  Your kids will take a journey to a different Bible destination every day, and discover that God is with them at all times, in all places and in all circumstances, ready to help them and guide them.  They will learn a daily E.D.G.E. Pledge and complete a Scripture Challenge, and see how extreme faith requires extreme action.  They will also come to know Jesus as their friend and Savior who went to the extreme for them!

CAMP E.D.G.E. Opening Event "Extreme Expedition," Sunday, June 21st, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the MTSU Rec Center!
Check in at the VBS Registration Desk, then have an EXTREME Photo-Op before swimming and climbing the night away!  Light snacks provided, free admission, and bring your Beach Towel!   Children climbing the wall must have shorts, t-shirts and tennis shoes.  Parents may bring a folding chair. All children will receive their VBS Camp E.D.G.E. T-Shirt to wear on Monday!

Bring a Beach Towel:  Each Child is asked to bring a BEACH TOWEL Monday morning to leave at St. Mark’s through Friday morning.  This beach towel will serve as their seat during Worship!  Please be sure to label the towel with your child’s name.

Colors of the Day:  Encourage your child to wear the color which relates to the daily Bible story:  Monday/Blue (Wear your VBS T-Shirt!), Tuesday/Yellow, Wednesday/Green, Thursday/Red, and Friday/Purple.   VBS is sweaty, messy and active; dress appropriately!

Morning Arrival:  Each child must be signed in by a parent or other responsible adult! Please come to the Worship Center to sign-in to class between 8:45 and 8:55 a.m.  The Registration Desk will be open for persons who are not registered.

Noon Pick-Up:  A VBS Map and Class assignments are available.  Please come to your child’s classroom each day at 12:00 noon to pick up your child.  Each child must be signed out by a parent or other responsible adult over 18 years of age!

VBS Worship: “BASE CAMP” gathers daily, 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. in the Worship Center.  Join us!!!

VBS Mission Offerings:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday  Our offerings will go to the U.S. soldiers of the 594th Transportation Company at Camp Arifjan, Iraq!  Please bring non-aerosol sunblock, and/or children’s school supplies (pens, pencils, crayons, markers, watercolor sets).

Tuesday and Thursday  $$$ Our monetary offerings will benefit the ministries of Camp Cedar Crest, our United Methodist Camp in Fairview, Tennessee.
 
 


VBS Family Night: Thursday, June 25th, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

6:00p.m.   CAMP E.D.G.E. FIRE CIRCLE Feel the fire of God’s love during this brief musical and video program highlighting our VBS!   Please bring your own camp or lawn chair to the Worship Center.
6:30-8:00p.m.  EXTREME OUTDOOR GAMES!  Free hot dogs, popcorn, Sno-Cones, chips, lemonade and more!  Your kids won’t want to miss the awesome fun, including rope challenges and obstacle courses for all ages, the gigantic Titans Climb and Slide, and the Bonzai Double Drop Raceway Water Slide!  All events will be held at St. Mark’s, Rain or Shine.  Be Ready to Get Wet!

Bring a friend to VBS! We have plenty of room and lots of supplies for many children!  Invite your friends and neighbor children to St. Mark’s VBS!
Make a donation of $5-$10 per child any morning of VBS.  Our budget covers only a portion of our VBS expenses!   Your donations help us have an awesome VBS!
Thank our hard-working Teachers, Leaders, and Helpers by providing delicious food and beverages for our Teacher or Youth Lounges.  Call Linda Tackett at 890-1208 (teachers) or Brett Hillesheim at 893-3455 (youth) for information.
Volunteer to help Sunday and/or Thursday Afternoon/Evening to prepare and serve food, supervise a game or inflatable, or clean up.  If you would be able to help at one of these special events, please contact John or Michelle McDaniel at 890-3591.

St. Mark’s is a “Safe Sanctuaries” church, dedicated to conducting the ministry of Jesus Christ in ways that assure the safety of our children and youth as well as of the workers with children and youth.

During VBS week, all children must be signed in to and out of their classrooms.  Please follow these daily procedures for signing in and signing out:

It is NOT necessary to stop at the Registration Desk if you are already registered for VBS.
 

When you arrive at St. Mark’s, please go to the Gymnasium and sign your child, Toddlers – Grade 6, in to his/her class between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. each morning.  Classroom signs will be posted around the perimeter of the Gymnasium and a class teacher will be present to assist you with Sign In.  If you arrive at VBS after 9:00 a.m., please wait until worship is finished at 9:30 a.m. and sign your child into his/her class.

Sign Out your child from his/her classroom.  Please go to your child’s classroom between 11:55 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. to sign out your child.

Children will only be released to persons other than parents if prior contact has occurred between the parents and the teachers in charge.  Children may not be released to a sibling less than 18 years of age without written parental permission.
