CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, SUNDAY MORNINGS, 9:45-10:45 A.M.

Live B.I.G.! Age 2 to Grade 1 learn to Live B.I.G. (Belief In God) in a loving and safe environment with creative, Bible-based activities and a weekly DVD resource.
Dive Into the Bible Grades 2 to 6 enjoy a rotating, hands-on Bible study using computers, puppets, drama, video, music, science, art, games, cooking, and more!

NURSERY

During your child's firsst years they will experience the love of Christ through the outstanding care of our nursery staff. Childcare is provided for children from 6 weeks to 4 years of age during all worship services, classes, and other gatherings.

ST. MARK’S PRESCHOOL

Operates five days per week September through May with varied programs for children 18 months - 4 years of age. Sherrie Gilliam, Director, 895-1803.

WEDNESDAY CHOIRS AND BIBLE ZONE

Handbells, CHime and Vocal Choirs, and Bible Zone for Preschool through 6th grade are part of our September - May "Mid-Week L.I.F.T."

J.A.M. SESSION (Jesus and Me)

5^th and 6^th graders meet monthly for fun, fellowship, service and spiritual challenge, including Nashville Shores, "Created by God" seminar, Mission Mania, and Confirmation. Permission Forms for JAM events can be downloaded HERE.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

After the Children's Sermon, children ages 4 - 7 are invited to reflect upon the morning Bible story with related activities and prayers. Children return to the sanctuary for the closing of worship, including communion on first Sundays. Children’s Church is offered during the school year, September - May.

SEASONAL EVENTS

Advent and Lenten activities, Christmas Eve worship for families with children, an Easter Egg Hunt and special mission events.

CAMP CEDAR CREST

Camp Cedar Crest offers an outdoor experience of Christian community for rising 3rd to 6th graders. Registration in March.

WAY OF THE CHILD

A weekly small group experience for age 6 to 11 that leads children into a deeper relationshsip with God and helps children form lifelong spiritual practices.

CHOIR, ACOLYTING, AND USHERING

Children are invited to lead in worship through service in age-level Children's Choir, as an Acolyte, and as a monthly Coin Offering Usher.

MOMMIES OF ST. MARK'S

Mommies of St. Mark’s is a support group for mothers of children age birth up to age 4 and a playgroup for those little ones. The group hosts events each month and tries to accommodate schedules of both stay at home mothers and those who work out of their home, part-time, or full-time. Each event offers an opportunity for the children as well as their moms. We hope the group will provide a valuable opportunity for each member to exchange advice, ideas, and friendship. There is no fee associated with “Mommies of St. Marks” but occasionally there is a cost associated with our activities. The group is open to anyone who attends and/or is a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Look for “Mommies of St. Mark's” on Facebook!

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Should a severe weather event occur that inhibits the ministry of the church throughout the week, the standard policy for cancellation rests upon the decision made by the Murfreesboro City Schools. Should this school system choose to cancel school activities, ministries at St. Mark's will also be cancelled on that day. Members are encouraged to check home page of the church website for specific cancellations - www.stmarkstn.org.
